Juice Beauty

Stem Cellular Vinifera Replenishing Oil

They say: A facial oil featuring Fruit Stem Cells, Vitamin C and resveratrol-rich Grape Seed Oil — as well as a host of other natural ingredients including jojoba esters, olive squalene, organic sunflower seed oil and more — that primes and smooths the skin while also improving the appearance of skin tone and luminosity. The cruelty free product is also free of parabens, petroleum, propylene or butylene glycol, sodium lauryl sulfates, pesticides, phthalates, artificial dyes or synthetic fragrances.

We say: After shaking this product well, as directed, our tester applied a few drops to her freshly cleansed skin. The oil absorbs well and feels comfortable, even when worn under other hydrating products and makeup. Skin appeared more plump and felt more smooth. Whether used as a nighttime treatment or a daytime hydrator/primer, this organic oil is a skin treat.

Marc Anthony

Nourishing Argan Oil Of Morocco Deep Hydrating Conditioning Treatment

They say: A once-weekly hair “rescue remedy” that penetrates the strands, leaving behind hydrated, strong, shiny — and easier-to-manage hair.

We say: Our tester has curly, colour-treated hair that is “as dry as a desert in a wind storm,” so she is always on the hunt for deep-moisturizing treatments that work. And this one works. She said her wet hair was easy to comb through and there was noticeably less frizz once dry. The 50 mL packet is enough for two treatments on long hair, meaning this product is quite cost effective, as well. It will be joining our tester’s shower caddy, for sure.

Dr. Hauschka

Hydrating Hand Cream

They say: A fast-absorbing hand cream that features blackthorn, beeswax and wheat germ oil to preserve moisture and create “noticeably smooth skin.”

We say: This hand cream packs powerful skin hydration, without adding a greasy feel. Our tester applied a little at first, fearing the product would produce a slick on her hands (and keyboard) but was pleased with how well this salve seemed to melt into skin. Hands looked and felt much more moisturized post-application.
