Saudi Arabian govt to assist in BARMM devt

KAMPO RANAO, Marawi City: Malacañang has announced that Saudi Arabia would help in developing the newly created Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
Riyadh also vowed to continue its peace initiatives in Mindanao, the Palace said.
The Philippine government, according to Malacañang, has asked Saudi Arabia’s help to ensure the success of the BARMM to further strengthen the two countries strong relationship that spans 50 years of bilateral ties.
Its spokesman, Salvador Panelo, said the Philippines had invited investors from Saudi Arabia to help in the Build, Build, Build infrastructure program of the Duterte administration in southern Mindanao.
Robert Borje, Malacañang chief of Presidential Protocol and presidential assistant on Foreign Affairs, recently paid a courtesy call on Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud at the Foreign Ministry in Riyadh.
In a statement, the Palace said Borje asked Saudi Arabia for help in the development of the BARMM.
