P802M ‘shabu’ seized in Quezon City, suspect arrested

A total of P802.4 million shabu (methamphetamine) were seized in a buy bust operation in Quezon City on Tuesday, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said.
The operation by the PDEA Regional Office-National Capital Region (RO-NCR) resulted in the arrest of Zhang Yun Quan alias Francis, 30, a Chinese, in Barangay Sienna, said Joel Plaza, PDEA RO-NCR director 3.
Plaza said the PDEA cased the suspect for two weeks in his apartment that served as a drug warehouse.
The suspect will be charged for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Illegal Drugs) and Section 11 (Illegal Possession of Dangerous Drugs) of Article 2 of the Republic Act 9165. DARWIN PESCO
