With Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day parties just around the corner I’m loading you up with three easy, chic and effortless hairstyles that will stretch out over three days and only take 10 to 15 minutes to recreate.
The tools you will require for these looks are: a curling iron, a paddle brush, a comb, eight to 10 bobby pins, some styling product and one curling iron technique.
To create this glamorous and sculpted look in 15 minutes by follow these eight easy steps.
1: Start by spraying Oribe Soft Lacquer Heat Styling Spay on clean dry hair and comb through thoroughly.
2: Comb the hair into a strong side parting.
3: To create this classic wave, you’ll need a 1.5 inch curling wand or curling iron. For best results hold your hot tool horizontally to form a curl with maximum fullness.
4: Starting on the low part side of the hair, take a 1 to 2 inch subsection of hair and wrap it around the curling wand away from the face. Continue this curling technique (curling each section in the same direction) until you get to the opposite side of the head. Doing this will create a symmetrical “S” formation.
5: Let the curls cools down for a few minutes to set.
6: Emulsify a dime-size amount of Oribe — AirStyle Flexible Finish Cream into your hands to heat up and activate the product. Finger the product through the mid-lengths and ends to coat the hair.
7: Brush out the hair using a paddle brush to help define and sculpt the style.
8: Finish this look with a light spray of Oribe — Superfine Light Hairspray.
The above curling technique is as great base and can easily transition into this next looks. Follow these three steps to transform the sculpted look into a full and bouncy style in under 10 minutes:
1: Shake out and loosen up the hair with your hands.
2: Spray Oribe — Apres Beach Wave Spray and Shine Spray from underneath the hair (not directly on top) to create a light, full and texture finish.
3: Finish the look with a light mist of Oribe — Flash Form Finish Spray Wax, for an airy buildable texture.
This chic and low texture French-bun is a lovely style option for that “day-old” unwashed hair. To create this look follow these five steps:
1: Brush out the hair with a paddle and direct the hair over to the right side of the head. Be sure to section off pieces in the front hairline for soft face framing tendrils.
2: Secure the hair at the back by criss-crossing 3 to 4 bobby-pins, placing them vertically to the head, at the base of the nape.
3: Gather the loose hair on the right side, then twist and roll the mid-lengths and ends over toward the centre of the head.
4: Secure the bun in place with 3 to 4 bobby-pins, placing them horizontally to the head. Ensure the pins are anchored to the other pins in step 2.
5: Finish the look with a light spray of Oribe — Superfine Light Hairspray.
