Man stabbed in Abbotsford on Sunday night

Four people are in custody after a stabbing on Riverside Road in Abbotsford.
In a prepared statement, Abbotsford Police Department Sgt. Judy Bird said emergency services were called to the 1900-block of Riverside Road at 7:07 p.m. after a man was found laying on the roadway.
“Upon arrival, patrol officers located a man suffering from what appeared to be stab wounds,” Bird said.
The victim, a local man in his 50s, was taken to hospital where he is recovering from non life-threatening injuries.
Police have since arrested three women and one man in connected with the crime. The suspects and victim were known to each other.
“This file is in its preliminary stages of investigation, however, there is no risk to the public,” Bird said.
