CA revives criminal raps vs Italian ambassador

THE Court of Appeals (CA) on Thursday has ordered the revival of criminal charges against an Italian ambassador who was indicted for allegedly molesting three minors while on vacation in the Philippines in April 2014.
In a 19-page decision penned by Justice Myra Garcia-Fernandez of the CA 5th Division, the appeals court granted the petition for certiorari of the prosecution and the reinstatement of criminal charges based on Republic Act 7610 or the Anti-Child Abuse Law against Ambassador Daniel Bosio.
