Woman kidnapped in Makati

A woman was kidnapped in Makati City on Monday night, police reported.

Initial investigation showed that three males, identified as Chinese, kidnapped the woman, identified also as Chinese, along Paseo de Roxas at 9 p.m.

Police, quoting witnesses, said that the woman cried for help as she was being carried into a gray van.

Recovered from the scene were documents such as a deed of sale, and identification cards of a certain Jianwei and Chen Tangbin.

There is a possibility that one of the Chinese identified in the deed of sale knows the identity of the victim, police added.

Police are investigating the incident.
