If psychic Gurmeet Kals is to be believed, the woman who will be crowned 2019 Miss Universe today at the Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, Georgia, will come from a country “with a history of magic and mysticism” and “where the golden man sits.”
Gurmeet’s prediction carries a lot of weight. Since 2015, he has been accurately predicting the winner of the international pageant. (See related story on Page D1)
His prediction in 2015 particularly stands out. He said the winner was going to be from the “islands between Australia and China.” Her name has the letter “A” and she will be involved “in some controversy at some time but that will be in her favor.”
That year, the Philippines’ Pia Wurtzbach was declared the true winner after host Steve Harvey admitted mistakenly declaring Miss Colombia as Miss Universe.
This year, Gurmeet made his fearless forecast as far back as July.
“The winner will be connected to the land with a history of magic and mysticism, and there is no surprise she will have a magical charm and smile. Land connected to herbs, berries, forts, good wildlife, forests and hidden gold resources with a history of rulers who cared for their people and place where the golden man sits,” he said.
He added that the candidate “owns a golden amulet.”
The judges will also have a tough choice among the letters P, M, B, V and T and number 9, connected to the contestants’ past and origin.
One contestant, connected to number 10 or 01, who loves water and rain and has lived with deep emotions and very compassionate, and who is an animal lover also comes strong for the crown, Gurmeet said.
The psychic sees the most probable winner, connected to the letter “P,” “being blessed by the powerful forces of her ancestors or warrior spirits and nature of the place where she comes from… She will be the true deserving woman and will be an inspiration.”
Pre-arrival favorites Miss Thailand Paweensuda Drouin and Philippine bet Gazini Ganados are among the top picks by Missosology — acknowledged as the most credible pageant-related community forum — along with Miss Colombia Gabriela Nader to win the crown.
Studded with 1,700 diamonds and worth $5 million or P250 million, the crown was unveiled on Friday (Philippine time) by Miss Universe Organization president Paula Shugart and reigning Miss Universe Catriona Gray.
Analyzing the prediction
Analyzing the psychic’s pronouncements, Thailand seems to fit the description of the winner; it is the country where there is a sitting golden Buddha and has a history of magic and mysticism. Plus, the letter “P” is in the name of the candidate.
But it could also be India which has a sitting golden Statue of Equality (Ramanuja) as well as an Enlightenment golden statue of sitting Lord Buddha.
But number 9 is letter “I” in the alphabet that Ganados prominently has in her first name. Also, the famed Yamashita treasure called the Golden Buddha — still undeclared to have been found — may be lying undiscovered in one of the Philippines’ 7,641 islands.
Notwithstanding these predictions, Ganados made a strong impact during the preliminaries on Saturday in the swimsuit, long gown and national costume segments and, in fact, was the most applauded among the 90 candidates held at the Marriott Marquis in Atlanta.
