This was made possible due to the support from two shipping firms, namely: Seaborne Shipping Company Inc. and Shogun Shops Company.
The free water jeepney rides was also an initiative of DOTr, Maritime Industry Authority, Philippine Coast Guard, Philippine Ports Authority and the Cavite government.
DOTr said water jeepneys will cut short a Manila-Cavite trip to 15 to 20 minutes from three to four hours.
