THE Philippines lost to defending champion Thailand, 16-25, 22-25, 32-34, on Thursday in 30th Southeast Asian Games women’s volleyball tournament at the Philsports Arena in Pasig City.
The Filipinos nearly avoided a sweep as they forced five tiebreaks before losing to the Thais in the third set.
