On Wednesday, Santa Claus decided to leave his sleigh and reindeer at home and go for a plane ride.
Hundreds of children living with severe illnesses and their families received a magical airline flight in Vancouver, with a surprise visit from the Jolly Old Elf himself.
The annual Flight with Santa, organized by Air Transat and the Children’s Wish Foundation, took off from the Vancouver International Airport at 1 p.m. It returned 90 minutes later to the same airport.
During the flight, Santa appeared in the cabin and visited with the delighted children. The Santa Flight also made stops in Toronto and Montreal.
