What it is: A new fragrance from the French fashion brand Chloé that is billed as being “an everlasting tale of femininity starring the radiant, free-spirited woman.”

The latest release sees the “iconic rose” paired with “vibrant, multi-faceted magnolia” as well as notes of jasmine. The pink elixir’s bottle is decorated with a hand-tied coral pink grosgrain ribbon as seen on past fragrance releases.

What we say: You don’t have to be a fan of the Chloé fragrance family to enjoy this new scent release. Although, it wouldn’t hurt if you were.

The elixir is powerful and long-wearing, more like an eau de parfum than an eau de toilette, our tester reports. While billed as being floral, it comes across as being quite fresh. Our tester, who typically prefers fragrances boasting more heady, musky notes, was a quick fan of this new Chloé L’Eau Eau de Toilette, welcoming it into the regular scent rotation.

Where to get it: Hudson’s Bay; thebay.com.

What it will cost you: $145 for 100 mL.
