Concert announcement: James Taylor, Bonnie Raitt play Vancouver in April

Singer-songwriter James Taylor will embark on a Canadian tour next year that will include a April 15 stop at Vancouver’s Rogers Arena.

The Coast-to-Coast tour, which kicks off April 14 in Victoria, includes 12 stops across the country ending in St. John’s, N.L. on May 5.

The tour will coincide with the 50th anniversary of Taylor’s breakout album Sweet Baby James which spawned the classic hit Fire and Rain.

Opening for Taylor on the cross-Canada trek will be 10-time Grammy Award winner Bonnie Raitt.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Dec. 6 through Ticketmaster.

American Express card members will have access to a pre-sale on Dec. 3.
