MAYOR Noel Rosal of the City of Legazpi approved the development of sustainable communities in the towns of Homapon and Estanza in Legazpi City. The development, to be undertaken by Imperial Homes Corporation, will start in the first quarter of 2020 and will include over 1000 affordable homes all equipped with solar panels and made of Connovate ultra high-performance concrete panels, a construction innovation brought to the Philippines from Denmark. These makes them earthquake-and-typhoon resistant as well as fire resistant. It is also molds free. They are rated to last for 100 years.

“These developments are perfect for Legazpi. They are built strong to withstand the many typhoons we experience every year. It is also solar to address our power problems,” noted Rosal. “I am very thankful to Emma Imperial and Imperial Homes for bringing this world-class development to Legazpi.”

Imperial, wife of the late Legazpi City Mayor, Goyito Imperial, thanked Rosal for his support, “We are very excited to see these homes come up in Legazpi in support of the sustainability program of Mayor Rosal,” she said.
