John Marvin Nieto, Ms. Earth 2017 and WWF Ambassador Karen Ibasco and WWF Philippines Asst, Manager for Brand and Innovative Partnerships Kent Rebultan, who led the reveal of the Christmas attractions with Lucky Chinatown Mall Manager Jocelyn Melitante.

MARKING the start of the yuletide festivities, Lucky Chinatown unveiled its candyland-themed Christmas decors that characterize the sweetness of the season. Pandas are present all over the decor with their adorable fluff balls reminding us of the warm fuzzy feeling we get from spending the holidays with our loved ones.

“Christmas is a season of reflection and a time of gift-giving. This year, Lucky Chinatown aims to share happiness to the environment and to the youth, because spreading joy also means supporting the causes that are dear to our hearts,” Graham Coates, first vice president and head of Megaworld Lifestyle Malls said.

In the spirit of giving, Lucky Chinatown partnered with the World Wildlife Fund to warm up the holiday spirits through an Adopt-a-Panda campaign. Ms. Earth 2017 Karen Ibasco, WWF ambassadress, introduced the advocacy of spreading the love for our nature and wildlife this holiday season.

Aside from being one with panda conservation efforts, Lucky Chinatown also embraced the spirit of generosity with a gift-giving program. Santa Claus distributed gifts to the Longos Youth of Binondo, who gamely posed with Pao Pao the Panda and Chi Chi, WWF’s mascot.

Besides from revealing its Christmas decors, Lucky Chinatown also announced that families and friends could watch the sky burst in every color imaginable at the Sugar – Speckled Sky fireworks display on Dec 7, 14, 21 and 25.
