Makeover: A quick, easy and super chic wavy hairstyle for the holidays

It’s December, which means Holiday season is officially here! So to get you ready for the festivities, I’m demonstrating a very quick, easy and super chic wavy hairstyle that is fool proof, fun and is sure to get you on Santa’s the nice list!
Starting with clean or day-after blow dried hair. Create a clean deep side part.
Next, prepare the hair by spraying Oribe — Soft Lacqer Heat Styling Spray throughout the hair and comb through. This product provides thermal protection and flexible and hold.
Starting at the front of the hair, take a 1-inch horizontal subsection from the top layer of your hair then place it in-between your flat iron. Gently clamp down on the iron near the root area and lightly twist the wrist forward to create a bend in the hair. Release the iron and slide the flat iron 1-inch down the section. Again, gently clap down on the iron and this time you’ll want to twist the wrist in the opposite direction (upward) to create a bend or wave in the hair. Repeat this process from root to ends until complete the entire head of hair.
Tip: Keep the iron temperature at a medium heat setting to ensure you don’t damage the hair. The idea behind this look is to create a slight bend in the hair rather than a curl.
To create a matte textured finish, try Oribe — Matte Wave Texture Lotion to bundle the waves and added flexible texture without drying out the hair.
Finish the look with a light spray of Oribe — Superfine Hairspray
