Vancouver Weather: Mix of sun and cloud, slight chance of showers

VANCOUVER, B.C.: Tuesday, Nov. 26. Today’s weather is expected to start out chilly, and higher elevations could even see some wet snow or showers, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada. The temperature is expected to warm up slightly to 5 C with some sunshine during the day. Overnight Tuesday, expect a few clouds and 1 C. On Wednesday, the weather is expected to take a cold turn. A special weather statement remains in effect for Metro Vancouver, with temperatures below freezing expected over the next several days, and possible wind chill factors of up to – 10 C. On Wednesday, the forecast calls for a mix of sun and cloud, and a high of 6 C and an overnight low of zero, with wind. Thursday looks sunny and windy, with a high of 6 C and an overnight low of – 3 C. The mercury continues to slide Friday, with sunshine and a daytime high of just 3 C and an overnight low of – 4 C. Looking ahead to the weekend, it’s likely going to be sunny both days and cold, with a high of 3 C and low of – 5 C on Saturday. Then on Sunday it’s a daytime high of 5 C and an overnight low of – 2 C, with a chance of snow flurries.
