LOOK: Asean-Korea Commemorative Summit venue

BUSAN, South Korea — Halal food and prayer rooms for Muslims are just two of the facilities South Korea has prepared for international journalists covering the Association of Southeast Asian Nations-Republic of Korea (Asean-ROK) Commemorative Summit in this port city from Monday to Tuesday.

The Busan Exhibition and Convention Center (BEXCO) in Haeundae-gu is also the venue of the other exhibitions and meetings between Korean President Moon Jae-in and the 10 leaders of Asean.

BEXCO boasts an international media center with huge briefing and interview rooms, waiting area, a cafeteria offering various cuisines, as well as an experience zone where journalists and delegates can relax.

Tight security inside and outside the venue is also in place.
