Hollywood North: UBCP/ACTRA honours best in film, TV

Hollywood North’s best and brightest were honoured Saturday at the UBCP/ACTRA awards in Vancouver.
Camille Sullivan was named best actress for her starring role in the comedy-drama Kingsway, while Ben Cotton earned the best actor nod for his role in the crime thriller Crown and Anchor.
Steven Roberts, one of the stars of the drama In God I Trust, was named best emerging performer while Erin Mathews was honoured with the best voice acting award for Super Monsters Furever Friends.
Best stunt award went to stunt coordinator Eli Zagoudakis and stunt performers Nathaniel Shuker and Marshall Bingham for their performances in Arrow
The Lorena Gale Woman of Distinction Award was presented to actress Lesley Ewen and the John Juliani Award of Excellence was presented to actor Mel Tuck. Both honours are for lifetime achievement.
The UBCP/ACTRA awards gala took place at the Vancouver Playhouse and was hosted by Scrubs and The Flash actor Tom Cavanagh.
