Richmond RCMP continues to search for 75-year-old Feng Qin Zhou, who has been missing for five days.
The Richmond resident was last seen on Nov. 20, around 1 p.m., in the 7000-block of Firbridge Way.
Zhou is described as an Asian woman, 5-feet-2, with brown eyes and white hair. She was last seen wearing a pink, long-sleeve shirt, long, black-hooded coat, black pants and pink shoes
Mounties says Zhou only speaks Mandarin and may appear to be confused or disoriented.
Along with the Richmond RCMP, members from the RCMP’s Lower Mainland tactical troop, integrated police dog service, emergency response team and integrated air service have participated in the search with assistance from the Canadian Coast Guard, Surrey Search-and-Rescue, Richmond Fire Rescue and Richmond Block Watch.
“I appreciate all the volunteers from the communities in Greater Vancouver who helped me by searching for my mom day-and-night during these distressed and helpless days. I never imagined that there are so many people in Greater Vancouver that have provided me with so many unselfish contributions,” Julie Zhou, the missing woman’s daughter, said in a statement.
Anyone with information on Feng Qin Zhou’s whereabouts are urged to contact their local police.
