NCRPO installs biometrics to track late, absentee policemen

BRIG. GEN. Debold Sinas, National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief, announced on Friday the installation of biometrics in its headquarters to track down late and absentee policemen.
Sinas said this was in accordance with the Civil Service Commission (CSC) directive.
“Wala pong exempted sa regional headquarters, pag absent ka absent ka talaga [No one is exempted in regional headquarters, if you are absent, you are absent],” Sinas told reporters in a press briefing.
A total of 1,500 NCRPO personnel, except the Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB), will use the biometrics system.
A dry run has been ongoing and the system will be fully functional on December 1, Sinas said. DARWIN PESCO
