After a militant group allegedly vandalized the walls of Araullo High School in Manila, students and teachers from the school volunteered to clean and repaint its walls.

Jermaine Sarmiento, a Grade 10 student, said militants should stop vandalizing because it disrespects the efforts of the city government to clean up Manila.

Macniel Marcellana, a Mathematics teacher in the school, said the public should not deface and destroy public property.

I think this is considered as a damage to property,” Marcellana said.
