Vancouver Weather: Wet and windy, possible sunny breaks

VANCOUVER, B.C.: Friday, Nov. 16. Today’s weather looks wet and windy, as a special weather statement for heavy rain and wind remains in effect for the weekend. Environment and Climate Change Canada says Friday will start out with some heavy rain, with up to 10 millimetres expected, along with some wind. The stormy weather though should clear up late in the day for a mix of sun and cloud, and a high of 13 C. Metro Vancouver residents may want too soak up any sunshine, as the weekend looks grey and wet. Overnight, there should be some more rain, with a low of 9 C, and then the region will likely get a good soaking on Saturday, with up to 15 millimetres of rain expected throughout the day, and a high of 11 C. Sunday also looks rainy, but a bit warmer, with a high of 14 C. Looking ahead, the week will start out cloudy on Monday, and then it looks like a mix of sun and cloud for Tuesday, with highs of 12 C and 11 C, respectively. Wednesday and Thursday are expected to be sunny, clear, and 10 C.
