Two people injured in multi-vehicle accident on Sea to Sky Highway

Two people were injured in a multi-vehicle accident that closed the Sea to Sky Highway near Furry Creek on Tuesday afternoon.
The accident occurred around 4:45 p.m.
B.C. Emergency Health Services confirmed two people — one in serious condition and one in stable condition — were transported to hospital.
Both the northbound and southbound lanes of Highway 99 in Porteau Cove Provincial Park were closed to traffic for nearly an hour as emergency personnel attended the scene.
Drive B.C. advised drivers to expect major delays before the highway was fully reopened by 6:34 p.m.
