FOREIGN Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr. on Monday said a Human Rights Watch (HRW) officer who pressed for the arrest of President Rodrigo Duterte will not be allowed to enter the Philippines.

Locsin made the remark after Phelim Kine, HRW deputy director for Asia, informed Vice President Maria Leonor “Leni” Robredo that he is coming to Manila to help her address the problem on illegal drugs.

“Her retarded retinue. Don’t worry; he can’t get into the country,” Locsin said on Twitter.

“We have to spare Leni the moral moronism of those who use her,” he tweeted.

Locsin made the remark in reaction to Kine’s tweet advising Robredo how to pursue her job.

In his tweet on Sunday, Kine said, “Dear VP (Vice President) @lenirobredo – my bags are packed and I’m ready to come to the #Philippines to help advise how to end this murderous ‘drug war.’”

“Meanwhile, [h]ere is my recommendation. No. 1. Arrest #Duterte and his henchmen for inciting and instigating mass murder,” Kine tweeted.

Kine on Sept. 28, 2018 said that Duterte admitted culpability for extrajudicial killings (EJKs) during a speech at the change of command ceremony of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
