Magnitude 4.1 quake hits Cotabato — Phivolcs

A magnitude 4.1 earthquake hit Cotabato province anew early Saturday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.

Philvocs located the epicenter of the quake, which struck at 8:07 a.m., at 22 kilometers southeast of Tulunan, Cotabato.

It was tectonic in origin and had a depth of 12 kms from the surface.

There were no reported intensities in other areas, according to Phivolcs.

Phivolcs said it was not expecting any damage or aftershocks. FRANZ EMBUDO
