P36-M worth of ‘shabu’ seized in Pasay

MANILA, Philippines — Around P36 million worth of suspected “shabu” was seized in a buy-bust operation in Pasay City, police said Tuesday.

Operatives of the Police Drug Enforcement Group launched the buy-bust at about 8 p.m. Monday in front of a fast food store along Roxas Boulevard, according to a report forwarded by the Pasay City police. A certain Emerson Fernandez and another unnamed cohort were arrested.

Confiscated from the suspects were 47 packs of suspected “shabu” weighing around six kilograms, and a Toyota Camry.
