Two people died and another was seriously injured after the vehicle they were in plunged off a forest service road into Harrison Lake.
According to the RCMP, the partly-submerged vehicle was spotted by a boater at around 10 a.m. Sunday 14 kilometres up the Harrison East Forest Service Road. It was not known whether the accident (near the Bear Creek Campground on the east side of the lake) occurred on Saturday night or Sunday morning.
Two people were found deceased inside the vehicle and a third person was taken by boat to a landing site, where they were taken by helicopter to hospital in Vancouver.
