What it is: A foundation from British beauty professional Charlotte Tilbury’s eponymous brand that is billed as “a hybrid magic skincare” product.
Featuring various proprietary technologies, including “groundbreaking” Magic Replexium for wrinkles, MossCellTec for hydration, AirCool for a “fresh feel” and C.T. Defence to limit exposure to pollutants, this makeup product targets skin concerns as well as providing instant skin-perfecting properties.
Available in more than 40 skin tone-matching shades.
What we say: Our tester was impressed with the overall performance of this foundation.
The dewy formula is easily buildable, so one pump of the product provides a soft, skin-perfecting veil on skin, while two (or three depending on desired coverage) pumps can yield a more full-coverage finish.
Battling with oil-prone skin, our tester is used to foundations migrating and shifting throughout the day. But, with this product, she was pleased to find the finish stayed smooth throughout the day. It’s matte without being dull.
After application, skin felt more plump and pores, as well as minor imperfections, were noticeably smoothed.
