Radio broadcaster shot in Tacurong City

TACURONG CITY – A radio broadcaster was shot in Barangay New Isabela, this city, yesterday.

Police Lt. Col. Rey Egos, Tacurong police chief, identified the victim as Benjie Caballero, station manager of Radyo ni Juan based in Isulan, Sultan Kudarat.

Egos said the victim was waiting for a ride in front of his house when two men on board a motorcycle arrived. One of the suspects pulled out a gun and opened fire at the victim.

The victim sustained a bullet wound in the chest and was taken to a hospital in Tacuron
