Two people were rushed to hospital following a rescue along the Capilano River in North Vancouver on Sunday afternoon.
B.C. Emergency Health Services says three ambulances, including an advanced care unit, were called to the river, just south of the Capilano River Salmon Hatchery, at 12:47 p.m.
One patient was treated at the scene by advanced care paramedics and sent to the hospital in critical condition, while the other was sent to hospital in stable condition.
Caeli Turner, a spokeswoman for BCEHS, did not know if the two had fallen into the river.
“All I know is the incident was along the river. We received the call from the fire department,” Turner said.
