AIR Intellipure Inc. has invested more than P20 million to launch its Pure Wellness program that aims to improve indoor air quality in the Philippines.

“The initial seed capital investment was over P20 million upon [the program’s] launch and we intend to grow this as we roll out in the future,” Nick Gitsis, founder of Air Intellipure in the Philippines, said early last week.

“We are committed to invest P250 million in the next five years as we expand into all the highly developed cities of the country,” he added.

The Pure Wellness program is based on a patented surface and air purification technology that removes air pollutants from indoor spaces and maintains a high sanitary state with regular service.

It uses a process that eliminates and protects people from nearly 100 percent of all viruses, bacteria and other irritants to create healthy indoor spaces.

Citing data from the World Health Organization, Air Intellipure said air pollution was the number one threat to mankind, noting that most people spend up to 90 percent of their day indoors, where the air quality could be up to 10 times worse than that outdoors.

“Air Intellipure sees tremendous opportunities with this unique wellness program for all indoor spaces. Air Intellipure will initially focus on the wellness tourism market, which [includes] hotels, resorts and casinos, hospitals and clinics, fitness gyms, and spas,” Gitsis said.

Belo Clinics will be the first certified Pure Wellness clinics in Asia. Its first clinic certified as such is set to open in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, in November.

Gitsis said the program used one of the most effective air purification technologies developed from a US military grant to provide clean air.

“Our process to purification guarantees that you are in a pollution-free and allergy-friendly space,” he added.

“Our pioneering service is projected to bring exponential growth to the company over the next year. Along with our Intellipure air purification system sales, we’re targeting revenues of P58 million by next year with further substantial growth by 2021.”

In addition to the program, Air Intellipure is introducing Intellipure USA’s line of portable air purifier models in the country. It prices range from P47,000 to P89,000 and above. Customizable commercial models are also available for industrial spaces.
