THE Sitel Group hosted a Learning session of the People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP) Leadership Development Committee at their Technopoint headquarters.

Fifty- five mentors, mentees, and guests of PMAP’s Leadership Development Program attended the half-day event, which featured a Zumba session, a session on Leadership Branding and sharing from distinguished “Glocals” or Filipino People Management practitioners who are making a difference in the global arena.

Sitel Group’s Chief People Officer (CPO) Haidee C. Enriquez, in her keynote session entitled “I, Inc.,” focused on the importance of developing and sharing one’s unique leadership brand based on business goals, development objectives, and personal style.

“A leadership brand conveys the type of leader you want to be known for and highlights the value you bring to the role. It showcases your distinctiveness as a leader and determines how you work with your team,” said Enriquez.

As Sitel Group CPO, Enriquez handles all people functions and Sitel’s HR shared services in the Philippines, Australia, and New Zealand. A graduate of PMAP’s first batch of mentees in 2004, she shared how defining, refining, and constantly re-aligning her leadership brand contibuted to her success in the different roles she handled.

“The way we define ourselves as leaders is key in helping us achieve our goals and in maximizing our impact on our teams,” said Enriquez.

“This branding goes beyond how you speak or behave. It involves unlocking qualities that define how you interact with others to achieve shared alignment and commitment. Once you can identify who you are as a leader, you can inspire others to do the same,” she added.
