Students raise over $78k for Terry Fox Foundation

Frank Pearse, Principal of Seaview Community School in Port Coquitlam and organizer of this year’s charity run, reports that over 25 schools participated in the 2019 annual Running Terry’s Money Home event and raised over $78,000.00 for cancer research.
Over 450 students from 25 schools, some of whom were first-time runners, covered distances of up to 7.4 kilometres and converged at Maple Creek Middle school for the presentation of a cheque to Kirsten Fox, Terry’s sister and the Terry Fox Foundation coordinator for B.C. and Yukon schools.
