TO address the emerging requirements of a digital-focused society, NOAH is offering business applications that could provide organizations with the capability to invoke artificial intelligence by having an end-to-end application software.
This was revealed during the “NOAH Business Applications Digital Transformation Forum for Controllership” at the Grand Hyatt Manila hotel in Taguig City on Tuesday. It was third leg of the company’s events about digital transformation, with the first two focusing on digital transformation on real estate and production.
Lofreda “Dada” del Carmen, president and chief executive officer of NOAH, said its applications allowed business rules to be organized within the organization in terms of their workflow, document control and approval process of their work instructions.
“It is very important, because the function of controllership in the digital age is to ensure that they function within the organization’s objective, especially when it comes to finance and accounting,” she explained.
Controllership is about safeguarding the assets of a company, as well as assisting the entire management team to achieve its goal and hold the financial goals of the company, whether they are revenue-directed or cause-related goals.
Through the software, companies will be able to forecast budget assumptions, budget realignment and budget return.
Del Carmen also said they provide companies an entire organization transformation or pin-pointed transformation at a specific area.
In terms of security, she said that they provide the second level of security wherein they limit the kind of information that can be accessed, as well as who can access that information.
NOAH also unveiled its newest clients during the forum: ISOC Land Inc., MySpace Properties Inc. and SOC Land Development Corp., all real estate companies.
“We have a lot of new clients, but this afternoon we focused on realty, but we also have clients in the [banking sector] who signed also with NOAH,” said del Carmen.
The company is named after the Biblical figure Noah, who, according to the Holy Scriptures, built the Ark using mathematics in estimating the number of logs, food to store, and accounting for all creatures, pair-by-pair.
NOAH’s advancements in the past 15 years led them to the development of the Project Implementation Methodology, where significant processes can be paralleled with the story of Noah, del Carmen said.
