Suspicious death of man in central B.C. might be linked to animal: RCMP

RCMP say an animal may be linked to the death of a man in central B.C.
North District RCMP Cpl. Madonna Saunderson says police launched a suspicious-death investigation when a man’s body was found outside a home in 100 Mile House on Wednesday.
Officers quickly determined that an animal had already disturbed the body. Members of the B.C. Conservation Officer Service are working to determine what kind of animal might have been involved and whether it played a part in the death.
Saunderson says it’s believed there is no risk to the public.
She says the B.C. Coroners Service is assisting with the case.
