VANCOUVER, B.C.: Friday, Sept. 27. Happy Friday, Metro Vancouver. The weather today is expected to be blustery this morning, so if you’re heading out to join the thousands of people marching in the streets today for climate action, you may want to pack a windbreaker. Environment and Climate Change Canada is forecasting gusts of up to 50 km/h near the water this morning, then a mix of sun and cloud, with a high of 15 C and a slight chance of showers. Overnight, the temperature is expected to drop down to 9 C with a good chance of showers, but then it looks like the wet weather is going to dry up for a pleasant weekend with plenty of sunshine. Saturday and Sunday are both forecast to be sunny and clear, with highs of 17 C and 15 C, respectively. Then it looks like the sunny weather will stick around for the first part of next week. Monday and Tuesday should be sunny with highs of 15 C, before the rain returns on Wednesday.
