UPDATE: ‘Drug queen’ sneaks past Immigration to flee PH

THE “drug queen” in Manila has fled the country, Maj. Gen. Guillermo Eleazar, chief of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO), said.
Eleazar said, however, that despite the escape of Guia Gomez Castro, police would still go after her accomplices.
“Ngayon ang balita natin, (Now the news is she is) out of the country,” Eleazar said in a radio program early Wednesday.
Castro is the barangay chairwoman of Barangay 484 Zone 48 in Sampaloc with alleged links to at least seven Metro Manila policemen.
A radio report said that Immigration authorities did not stop Castro from leaving the country on September 21 because she did not have a “derogatory” record.
Eleazar presented on Tuesday a matrix on the recycling of seized illegal substances with Castro at the helm of the operations. DARWIN PESCO
