Vancouver Weather: Rainy and blustery

VANCOUVER, B.C.: Tuesday, Sept.17. Today’s weather will start out with rain, heavy at times, with up to 25 millimetres expected, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada. The rain should taper to showers in the afternoon with a high of 16 C. Along with the rain, the agency is forecasting fairly strong winds, gusting up to 70 kilometres an hour in some areas. Overnight expect more rain and a low of 13 C, and then Wednesday looks mainly cloudy, with a slight chance of showers and a high of 18 C. Thursday also looks cloudy and 17 C, and then Friday should be a mix of sun and cloud, with a slight chance of showers and a high of 18 C. Looking ahead to the weekend, it looks like both Saturday and Sunday will be cloudy with a chance of showers, and highs of 18 C and 17 C, respectively.
Today: Rain at times heavy changing to showers near noon. Amount 15 to 25 mm. Wind southeast 30 km/h except southeasterly 50 gusting to 70 near the water this morning and early this afternoon. High 16 C. UV index 2 or low.
Tonight: Showers at times heavy. Fog patches developing before morning. Local amount 10 to 20 mm. Low 13 C.
Tomorrow: Cloudy, with a 40 per cent chance of showers early in the morning. Clearing late in the morning. Fog patches dissipating in the morning. High 18 C. UV index 4 or moderate.
