Vancouver Weather: Wet and windy weekend ahead

VANCOUVER, B.C.: Friday, Sept. 13. The day should start out mainly cloudy, with a slight chance of showers, and then the rain is expected to return in the afternoon. Environment and Climate Change Canada says up to 10 millimetres of rain is expected later in the day, with a high of 18 C. Overnight, there will likely be more rain with a low of 15 C, and then Saturday should start out cloudy, and then another soaking is expected late morning. The agency is forecasting up to 10 centimetres of rain, along with wind, and a high of 18 C. Expect more showers on Sunday, and a bit cooler as well with a high of 15 C. Looking ahead to next week, it doesn’t look like the region will see much sunshine until Thursday. On Monday, expect showers and 18 C, Tuesday looks rainy with a high of 15 C, and then there’s a chance of showers again on Wednesday. Thursday looks a bit brighter, with the forecast calling for a mix of sun and cloud and 19 C.
