Tour returns next month

For the seventh year in a row, the Modern Architecture + Design Society is bringing its Modern Home Tour to Greater Vancouver.
The self-guided tour, which takes place Sept. 14 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., will offer tour-goers “an opportunity to engage the minds behind the designs and ask questions as they explore some of Vancouver’s modern homes, inside and out,” says a prepared release outlining the event.
Included on the tour are laneway homes, new homes, a fully renovated home and a certified “Passive House.”
“Vancouver has an amazing and inspiring movement in modern residential architecture and design,” says society president James Leasure. “Our 2019 lineup features some incredible work from some of the area’s leading architects and interior designers.”
Tickets for the tour, which will benefit the KPU Wilson School of Design, are $45 in advance and $50 on the day of the event. For more information, visit http://www.vancouvermodernhometour.com
