Police are working to return the bikes to their owners. Investigators say since beginning of the year, more than 1,600 bicycles have been reported stolen in Vancouver.

Police are reminding bike owners to register their bicycles with the serial numbers in the 529 Garage registration and recovery program. There is no charge.

Three men from Vancouver and one man from Surrey were arrested in relation to the bike seizure and released without charges. Vancouver police are continuing to investigate and still may recommend charges.
