Singer-rapper Nicki Minaj announces retirement

SINGER and rapper Nicki Minaj announced her retirement from the music industry.
In a Twitter post on Friday, the 36-year-old singer she wanted to start a family.
“I’ve decided to retire & have my family. I know you guys are happy now,” the singer tweeted. “To my fans, keep reppin me, do it til da death of me, 
in the box- cuz ain’t nobody checkin’ me. Love you for LIFE.”
The singer is known for songs such as “Super Bass” and “Starships”. She was a judge on the TV reality show American Idol, where she was part of a publicized spat with co-judge and fellow singer Mariah Carey. ARIC JOHN SY CUA
