Vancouver Weather: Balmy and breezy

VANCOUVER, B.C.: Thursday, Sept. 5. Sunshine and clear skies are in the forecast for today, with highs of 23 C on the coast and 29 C inland, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada. The agency says it will also be windy by the water. Overnight, it looks like fog and a low of 13 C, and then Friday should be another warm and sunny day, with highs of 27 C inland and 24 C closer to shore. Looking ahead to the weekend, Saturday looks cloudy and 20 C and Sunday should be a mix of sun and cloud, with a slight chance of showers, and a high of 21 C. Then it looks like a soggy start to the week. Monday and Tuesday are expected to be cloudy with a good chance of showers, and highs of 19 C and 18 C, respectively.

Today: Sunny. Fog patches dissipating this morning. Windy near the water. High 23 C except 29 C inland. Humidex 28 except 34 inland. UV index 6 or high.

Tonight: A few clouds. Fog patches developing overnight. Low 13 C.

Tomorrow: Mainly sunny. Fog patches dissipating in the morning. High 24 C except 27 C inland. Humidex 28 except 30 inland.
