San Beda swimmers out to extend NCAA dominance

San Beda hopes to extend its dominance to eight years when the NCAA swimming competition starts today at the City of Sta. Rosa Multi Purpose Complex Swimming Pool in Laguna.
The SBU Sea Lions have lorded it over the men’s and women’s divisions for the past seven years, and they are still tipped to win their 22nd overall championship this season.
The trials start at 8:30 a.m. and the opening ceremonies will take place at 11 a.m. Frank Gusi, the NCAA swimming tournament chief and University of Perpetual Help System DALTA sports consultant said the Finals will be played in the afternoon.
