Oil firms announce minimal cuts in diesel, gasoline

OIL companies announced a drop in the prices of petroleum products over the weekend.

Cleanfuel took the lead in lowering prices of diesel and gasoline by 20 centavos per liter and 10 centavos per liter, respectively, on Sunday at 4:01 p.m.

Seaoil cut prices of its diesel and gasoline products  by 10 centavos and 15 centavos per liter effective on Monday at 6 a.m.

Pilipinas Shell will implement the same adjustment in its fuel prices on Tuesday at 6 a.m.

This is the second straight week that industry players reduced diesel and gasoline prices.

Last week, prices of diesel and gasoline went down by 10 centavos per liter each but the cost of kerosene increased by 10 centavos per liter.
