If you’re looking to enjoy a nice drive around Stanley Park this week, better make sure you’re updated on the latest road closures impacting the park.
On Sept. 2, the Vancouver Triathlon will bring road closures to Stanley Park.
All roads in the park will be closed between 6:30 and 10:30 a.m., though the seawall will remain open to pedestrians and cyclists during the event.
The Stanley Park Causeway and Lions Gate Bridge will remain open.

The RBC Gran Fondo, which will see cyclists travel from Vancouver up to Whistler, will prompt road closures and traffic changes on Saturday, Sept. 7.
The Stanley Park Causeway and Lions Gate Bridge will be closed to northbound traffic between 5:30 and 8:30 a.m. One southbound lane will remain open during this time. Drivers are advised to use Ironworkers Memorial Bridge instead.
Access to Stanley Park Drive from Georgia Street will be closed between 3 to 8 a.m.
No vehicles will be allowed into the park so those being dropped off or who would like to park their vehicle, will have to do so at a paid parking lot at Denman and Bayshore streets.
A number of other traffic changes will impact the Sea-to-Sky Highway from Stanley Park up toward Whistler. For full details on those impacts, check the RBC Gran Fondo website.
