P15-M shabu seized from minor in Bacolod

BACOLOD CITY – About 500 grams of suspected shabu worth P15 million from a minor were seized in a buy-bust operation in Purok Fatima, Barangay 31 here Saturday.

Personnel of the City Drug Enforcement Unit conducted the operation against Cader Magondacan, who was able to escape during the drug bust.

His 17-year-old son was arrested and allegedly yielded 29 sachets of suspected shabu valued at P15 million and the P5,000 marked money.

Lt. Col. Leonardo Borromeo, CDEU head, said the minor-suspect allegedly sold a shabu to a police agent for P5,000.

Borromeo said they have been monitoring Magondacan for a few weeks now, following previous buy-bust operations here linking him as source of the illegal drugs of the arrest
