Having a fringe has it’s benefits. One being that you can extend your hair washing routine by an extra day. If your bangs get oily or unruly and you don’t have time to wash your hair, here is what I like to do to make my hair look fresh and clean in just five minutes.
Section by sectioning the fringe from the rest of the hair. Clip the fringe (triangle section) aside then pull the rest of the hair into a ponytail. In your bathroom sink, wet the fringe under the tap with lukewarm water and lather the hair using a shampoo of your choice. I’m using KMS Color Vitality for blond hair to enhance blond tones and reduce yellowing.
Towel dry the hair and spray in KMS Thermashape Quick Blowdry. This helps to speed up the blow dry time by 50 per cent and provides heat protection.
Using a paddle brush or a round brush and a blow dryer, sweep the hair from left to right to smooth out the hair. This technique is also great for smoothing out kinks of swirls, also know as cowlicks. A round brush is also a great option of you’re looking to create a little more lift or volume in the hair.
Use a curling wand or a flat iron to smooth out or add bounce to the hair. Spray dry shampoo to the rest of the hair for a quick refresh in a pinch.
Finish the look using KMS Hair Play Working Hairspray for a light hold and humidity protection.
