15 flights to, from Hong Kong cancelled due to raging protests

MANILA, Philippines — Thirteen Monday flights to and from Hong Kong and two others on Tuesday were cancelled due to ongoing protests in the special administrative region of China.
In an advisory, the Manila International Airport Authority (Miaa) announced the cancellation of following flights:

The ongoing protest actions in Hong Kong was sparked two months ago by calls to withdraw an extradition bill that will send residents facing charges to mainland China to stand trial.
The protesters’ major demands include the release of arrested demonstrators, an independent investigation into alleged police abuse and the dissolution of the current legislature, which is only partially composed of lawmakers who were directly elected.
